While working at Eastman Kodak, Johnson & Johnson and his own company (a software developer and automation services provider), Orestes has accumulated a broad experience dealing with diverse product categories, consumers and markets in different countries, regions and at a global level.
Strong analytical skills, fact-based leadership and focus on consumers have been Orestes’ critical success factors contributing to continuous above-goal results and successful turnarounds throughout his diverse experience. He has led business teams on identifying and leveraging market opportunities to reverse declines in revenue, profitability and market share, to reinforce brands and to launch new products, new promotions and advertising campaigns.
Orestes has a solid foundation in marketing, branding and business strategy –tools and processes, business-to-consumer and business-to-business. He also has a distinctive knowledge of Latin America and of the dynamics of emerging markets.
Orestes holds an electronic engineering degree from Instituto Tecnologico de Aeronautica (ITA) and a Masters degree (MBA) from Fundacao GetulioVargas (FGV).
Orestes is based in Brazil with his wife and two sons
